HISTORY
Kittelson Swim School was founded by its owner, Dan Kittelson in the Spring of 2002. He began teaching lessons out of the Baymont Inn on the westside of Madison. With an extensive background in swimming, Dan began with about 40 students. This number grew quickly and instructors were added as the company expanded. In January of 2007, Kittelson Swim School opened its new aquatic facility in Fitchburg.
Philosophy
At Kittelson Swim School, our goal is to provide your child with the necessary skills to be safe in the water, while at the same time promoting a love of swimming. We offer an environment for children to develop an appreciation and respect for the water. Our swim lessons empower a child to be able to promote their own safety, as well as the safety of others. The instructors become a source of confidence-building by encouraging and reinforcing your child as they begin to explore. We want to support your child in building a level of confidence that they can then use in all aspects of their lives.
